Quick Start Guide

Get your SM-76C up and running in minutes

Get your Sole Mate SM‑76C automatic shoe cover machine up and running in just a few minutes. For full details, see the User Manual.

1. Before You Start

  • Place the machine on a flat, stable, dry floor.
  • Use only approved Sole Mate SM‑76C film rolls.
  • Do not use the machine barefoot – always wear socks or shoes.
  • Keep hands, fingers, and loose clothing away from moving parts.

Set Up the Machine

Unpack

  • Remove the SM‑76C and power cord from the box.
  • Check for visible damage. If anything looks damaged, contact Sole Mate before use.

Position

  • Place the machine where people can step in and out safely.
  • Leave clear space in front and behind the machine.

Power

  • Make sure the power switch is OFF.
  • Plug the power cord into the machine and then into a wall outlet.
  • Turn the power switch ON. The display/indicator should light up.

Load the Film Roll

  1. 1Turn the machine OFF and unplug it.
  2. 2Open the film loading cover.
  3. 3Remove any used roll or loose film.
  4. 4Insert a new Sole Mate SM‑76C film roll in the holder, following the direction shown on the roll/inside label.
  5. 5Pull the film across the foot placement area as shown in the diagram on the machine.
  6. 6Close the cover, plug the machine back in, and turn it ON.

Apply Shoe Covers

  1. 1Stand directly behind the machine, facing forward.
  2. 2Place one foot straight down into the foot opening, keeping it centered.
  3. 3Hold still for about 3 seconds while the film wraps and shrinks.
  4. 4Lift your foot straight up and out.
  5. 5Repeat with your other foot.

Tips

  • Step straight in and straight out; avoid twisting.
  • Walk normally, but don't run or drag your feet.
  • If a cover looks incomplete or loose, remove it and apply a new one.

If Something Isn't Working

Machine won't turn on

→ Check power cord, outlet, and power switch.

No film applying

→ Check that the roll is installed correctly and not empty.

Film jam

→ Turn OFF, remove jammed film carefully, reload, and test again.
